Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach our initial £5,000 target! We're thrilled to have over doubled this through your kind support of our work. If you haven't donated yet and would like to there's still time, the appeal will remain open until January.

This year’s Christmas appeal aims to raise funds to support families across all our projects to ensure they can have a healthy and affordable Christmas. We’ve set ourselves an ambitious target of £5,000 which we need your help to achieve. You can either donate directly via the button above or set up your own fundraising event via our fundraising event page.

All donations will go directly towards funding vouchers for low income families and help us reach even more families in need.

Every day we work with our partners around the country from children’s centres and market traders, to local authorities, to help give families who are struggling to feed their children a healthy diet on a low income, access to fresh fruit and vegetables in their communities.

We achieve this through our Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project which provides families with £3 per week, per child (double if the child is under one year old), to spend on fruit and vegetables at their local market or with their local greengrocer.

Since the project began in 2014 we have supported over 1,200 parents to provide healthier food choices for their children. The positive impact of the project for families is shown through the stories we regularly hear:

“Now I am so happy because my boys are eating broccoli, cauliflower, okra, spinach. The lady at my market stall knows that I like spinach that I can cut so that it grows again and makes my money go further.”

“We used to struggle to afford a variety of fruit and vegetables…Now I can afford all this fruit and vegetables, which is great for me and also my children, as their diet has improved, becoming more balanced and healthy.”

“We both got through flu this year for the first time without any trips to A&E. For the first time in my son's life he fought it off with his own defences - his immune system must have improved.”

Thank you for your support.
