Alexandra Rose Project Lambeth

With support from Lambeth Council and the Mayor of London through their Food Flagship Initiative, Rose Vouchers launched in Lambeth in 2015. Nearly 1,500 families in Lambeth have been supported with Rose Vouchers since the project launched here. In Brixton we work with Brixton Market Traders Federation. Stuart Horwood their CEO is a passionate advocate for our project.

The project has most definitely had a positive impact on our business. We had to shut down for a few weeks during the lockdown, but our main concern was that we needed to come back so families to could spend their vouchers and get the fruit and veg they needed. We had to support the children.

The Rose Vouchers have really impacted positively in my life. I was lonely when I had my baby and didn’t have much money, but when I started coming to the Children’s Centre, I met friends and the Rose Vouchers helped me financially.
