Who we are Work with us Project & Network Manager Job Title: Project & Network Manager Reports to: Chief Executive Direct reports: None Location: Brighton Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 37½ hours per week full time (flexible working possible) An innovative small charity going through rapid growth and development is looking for a Project & Network Manager with the skills and passion to help take the charity to the next level. Alexandra Rose Charity is over 100 years old but in 2014 it adopted a brand new mission - to give families access to fresh fruit and vegetables in their communities. From two small pilots supporting 45 families in London the charity has grown to support over a 1000 families across London, South Yorkshire & Liverpool with plans to expand further across the UK. Through the Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg project the charity supports families on low incomes to access fresh fruit & veg from local markets. Job Summary The Project & Network Manager will support the growth of the charity, manage local projects and support the development of their project identities while sharing best practice and learning across the areas. The role will also be responsible for helping to raise the charity’s profile, both locally and nationally, through the use of social media, the charity’s website and events including a range of activities celebrating local projects annually. Competencies A passionate and enthusiastic individual with the ability to coordinate and manage complex projects. We are looking for someone with the skills to develop and grow the work of the charity, build its public profile and develop its project network. A good understanding (or interest in developing a good understanding) of the food sector with particular focus on food insecurity/food access, healthy eating, and local economic development is desirable. The individual must be willing to travel as we have projects across the country. They must be comfortable working in collaboration with many partners and stakeholders and have good communication and relationship management skills. Please also see the downloadable role profile.
