Every pound raised will be spent on our Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in 2024, ensuring even more families will be able to buy fresh fruit & veg and make the healthy meals they so desperately want to be able to provide so their children can thrive. None of this would be possible without your help.
You’ve helped us support families facing unexpected hard times, like Amal’s family, whose story you can read below.
Amal is a mum to her 3-year-old daughter; the family were recently bereaved. Rose Vouchers are helping to provide some stability during this enormously difficult time.
“It is very hard at the moment. My husband had cancer and passed away four weeks ago, so it’s just me and my three-year-old daughter. We need all the support we can get. Rose Vouchers are helping us buy what we need, but the amount you can buy with your money is decreasing as the cost of everything goes up.

Rose Vouchers are giving us more variety in the fruit and veg I buy from the market. It’s great shopping at the market. More than one shop takes Rose Vouchers, so I can go to another if I can’t get something like broccoli from one person. The shops have Rose Voucher signs, too, which helps me know where I can spend them.
I usually make different soups with mushrooms and aubergine. I buy carrots and apples to make juice. My daughter really likes this juice every day, and it keeps her healthy!”
