Mapping a way out of childhood obesity

Our CEO, Jonathan Pauling, was interviewed recently by the Financial Times about our work in Southwark with Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity on tackling food poverty and childhood obesity. 

Guy’s and St Thomas’ fund our Southwark Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. They are mapping local ‘food environments’ to show the relationship between income, where you live and obesity. Junk food is often cheaper and much more accessible than healthy foods, particularly in low-income areas.
