We’d like to say a huge thank you to David Austin Roses for choosing us as one of their three health-based charities this year to receive donations through the sale of three of their beautiful roses.
The Generous Gardener (Ausdrawn), Princess Alexandra of Kent (Ausmerchant) and the new Nye Bevan (Auspital) rose.
The sales of these roses as part of their Planting Positivity campaign have raised an amazing £100,000 which will be split between Alexandra Rose Charity, the National Garden Scheme and NHS Charities Together.
This incredible donation will make a huge difference to our charity and support our Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in 2022 to help even more families in need access fresh fruit and veg for their children.
