We’re over the moon to find out we’ve been chosen as one of the Big Issue’s Changemakers for 2024 for our work in Food and Nutrition! This is a huge accolade for us, so thank you to everyone who has supported, donated, and helped get us to this point. We’re in amazing company with all the other winners and thrilled to have our work helping families on low incomes afford fresh fruit & veg recognised.
2023 was an outstanding year for us with many fantastic milestones, including winning the BBC Food and Farming Innovation Award, seeing our two millionth Rose Voucher spent, expanding our project and much more. It is great to see 2024 begin in the same way.
The Big Issue Top 100 Changemakers aims to recognise: “People and organisations who have focused, not on themselves, but on the rest of us. There is something in what they’re doing that will make the coming year better too. Selfless, frequently unheralded, though sometimes a little better known, they have identified something that needs to be done, something which lifts others, frequently through personal experience, and rather than wait and moan they get on and make change.”
