Job Title: Data and Insights Officer
Location: Hybrid, mainly home based working with a requirement to regularly attend meetings and events (mainly in London but also other project areas elsewhere in the UK) and with occasional visits to the Charity’s offices.
Salary: £32,000 pro-rata
Hours: Part-time 22.5 hours a week, over 3 days
We are looking for apassionate Data and Insights Officer who is committed to social change, health equity and inclusion, and can coordinate and develop our data analysis initiatives, as well as provide research and analytical support for our research and evaluation work.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and the Impact & Evaluation Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the assessment and enhancement of the effectiveness of our projects as well as providing essential insights to support the strengthening of our fundraising and reporting efforts, and project performance monitoring.
Key responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
- To develop and maintain robust and accurate data systems and monitoring processes.
- To optimise ARC’s CRM systems (Socialsuite Salesforce) to enhance data collection and reporting.
- Drive the coordination and improvement of data analysis initiatives by working closely with Socialsuite tech engineers.
- Produce dashboards and contribute towards clear, engaging reports for stakeholders, including local authority funders, policymakers, and the public.
- Analyse audience segmentation data (e.g., socioeconomic, geographic, health indicators) to inform programme design and outreach strategies.
- Share insights to support decision-making, improve programme delivery, and strengthen ARC’s evidence base.
- Contribute data and research insights to strengthen funding bids and stakeholder engagement.
- Resolve data-related issues by collaborating with Socialsuite engineers and engaging with technical support partners as required.
- Build the data literacy of ARC teams, empowering them to utilise insights in their work.
Impact & Evaluation
- To arrange interviews and set up evaluation workshops and interviews in partnership with local project partners.
- To support the Impact & Evaluation Manager in delivering workshops and conducting interviews with participants via telephone calls and on-site.
- To keep excellent records and collation of participant evaluation responses.
- To summarise/analyse initial feedback from evaluations for the Impact and Evaluation Manager.
- To demonstrate how to fill out evaluation forms for project delivery partners as part of training sessions.
- To follow best practice and ensure safe, ethical, and secure collection and storage of personal data in relation to evaluation activities.
