March became a Trustee of Alexandra Rose Charity in 2007, and Chair in 2019, following many years of involvement with the charity’s work. He is dedicated to the charity’s current mission to give families on low-incomes access to fresh fruit & vegetables in their communities

March has a long history of working in the food sector, with 25 years in the Wine and Brewing Industries, followed by senior management posts in the International Travel and Hotel sectors, and establishing his own Food Procurement Company in the 1990's, which is still active today.
