Holly Harwood

Holly is a recent LSE graduate with a background in political economy research and a desire to build on this knowledge to address the issues of food inequality and insecurity. Over the last 4 years, she has assisted on research projects and indexes which touch on themes of taxation, financial secrecy, state-business relations, and union bargaining power. She also has educational and practical experience designing and implementing surveys as well as open-ended interviews with public affairs workers. Recently she has worked as a teaching assistant and has enjoyed educating students about climate change mitigation and International Workers Day.

In recent years Holly has also helped organise and facilitate workshops for the OTTN Feminist Foreign Policy project, which used policy ideation workshops to develop a publication of crowdsourced recommendations for states engaging with Feminist Foreign Policy. Holly has also enjoyed taking part in other voluntary campaigns for causes such as workers’ rights, social and climate justice.

In her free time, Holly enjoys walking, studying agroecology and surfing when the opportunity arises!
