Michelle Green

Michelle is a social impact professional with a background in academic research. She has 5 years experience of working on projects that tackle social and economic inequalities, including mental health stigma, increasing beauty demands, religious minority representation in public policy (University of Birmingham), and the global challenge to end contemporary slavery by 2030 (Walk Free Foundation). She started her career in research at the University of Nottingham with funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, where her work revealed how the novel has been an important cultural form for tracking medical and social changes since the 1960s.
