Helping families to access fresh and healthy food
Our Rose Vouchers for Early Years projects support low-income families, helping parents give their children the healthiest possible start. Families receive Rose Vouchers each week that make fresh fruit and vegetables more affordable at local markets.
How it works
Weekly vouchers for families
Families get £4 in Rose Vouchers per child every week. If the child is under one year old, the voucher value is £6. They can use these vouchers to buy a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables from market traders in London, Liverpool, Barnsley, and Glasgow.
Supporting local markets
We partner with local market traders to boost their businesses. This support helps keep local markets vibrant and ensures they remain important sources of healthy, affordable food.
Engaging with local communities
Distribution and registration
Children and family centres, along with community organisations, distribute Rose Vouchers. These centres register families facing food poverty or related health challenges.
Building healthy partnerships
We collaborate closely with local partners to offer comprehensive support. By working together, our Rose Voucher for Early Years projects provide families with the resources they need to live healthier lives.
